Internet စသံုးဖူးကတည္းက search engine ဆိုရင္ Google နဲ႔ Yahoo! ေလာက္ပဲ သံုးခဲ့တာ၊ ဒါေတာင္ Yahoo ရဲ့ interface က အျမင္႐ွဳပ္လို႔ သိပ္မသံုးျဖစ္ဘူး။ Google ကလည္း အဆင္ေျပတာကိုး။ အခုေတာ့ Microsoft က သူ႔ရဲ့ search engine အသစ္ bing ကို June 3 ရက္ေန႔က စတင္ခဲ့ပါၿပီ။
Bing ဆိုတာဘာလဲ ဆိုတာကိုေတာ့ သူကိုယ္တိုင္က အခုလို အဓိပၸါယ္ဖြင့္ပါတယ္။
ပိုေကာင္းတယ္ ထင္ရင္ေတာ့ ေျပာင္းသံုးရတာေပါ့။ ဒါေပမယ့္ Microsoft ရဲ့ service ေတြက Google ေလာက္ေတာ့ မ်ားမ်ား စားစား မရေသးဘူး။
ႀကံဳလို႔ ေျပာလိုက္ဦးမယ္...။ ျမန္မာလို ရွာၾကည့္ေတာ့ Zawgyi-One hybrid unicode ကိုပဲသံုးလိုက္တယ္။ Standard unicode ဆိုတာကလည္း စက္ထဲမွာ မရွိဘူးေလ။ ဘာပဲျဖစ္ျဖစ္ အဆင္ေျပတာပါပဲ။

As far as I tested, it can no way compete Google.
ReplyDelete1. When I type a couple of characters in the search box, Google give a suggestion for frequently searched words and average results (that feature helps me a lot when I don't know the keywords exactly).
2. When I enter a wrongly spelled word, Google provides "Did you mean" feature which correct your spelling and also include the results with that word in the page but Bing cannot.(that feature also helps a lot especially for the misspelling guy like me)
e.g. I wanted to search Schweinsteiger but I just know the pronunciation but not the spelling and I just guess and typed "schwainstiger".
Google replied "Did you mean: schweinsteiger" and a few results for Bastian Schweinsteiger
But Bing just replied "We did not find any results for schwainstiger."
May be it's because of Bing is still in Beta but I am sure I won't have any reason to change using that.
ဟုတ္ကဲ့ ကၽြန္ေတာ္လည္း အခုမွ စမ္းၾကည့္တာဗ်။ :)တစ္ခ်ိဳ႕ features ေတြကေတာ့ ႀကိဳက္ဖို႔ေကာင္းတယ္။ ဥပမာ preview ေပးထားတာေလးေတြေပါ့ဗ်ာ။ ကိုလင္းေဇာ္၀င္း ေျပာသလို spelling correction မပါတာကေတာ့ ဟုတ္တယ္ဗ်။ ကၽြန္ေတာ္လည္း ဒီလိုပဲ ခဏခဏမွားတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔မွာ ႏိႈင္းယွဥ္စရာ တစ္ခုေတာ့ ထပ္တိုးလာတာေပါ့။ အခုလို ထပ္ဆင့္ရွင္းျပတာ ေက်းဇူးပါပဲဗ်ာ။
